Introduction
The first day of preschool is a big milestone, both for your child and for you as a parent. It’s natural to feel a mix of excitement and nervousness. At Wonder Valley Nursery, we aim to make the transition as smooth and enjoyable as possible. Here’s what you can expect on your child’s first day at our Mayfield and Daveyton campuses.
Arriving at School
Drop-off time is usually between 6:30 AM and 7:00 AM. When you arrive, you’ll be greeted by our friendly staff, who will help guide your child into their new learning environment. We encourage parents to make the drop-off as calm and positive as possible—this sets the tone for a great day.
Morning Activities
Your child will start their day with engaging activities that focus on both social and cognitive development. From interactive storytime to sensory play, our teachers ensure that every moment is a learning opportunity.
Meals and Nap Time
At Wonder Valley, we provide nutritious snacks and meals to keep your child energized throughout the day. Nap time is also built into the schedule to help children recharge.
Pickup and Parent Communication
At the end of the day, we’ll send a daily report to keep you updated on your child’s progress. Whether it’s their new favorite activity or a milestone they reached, we’ll make sure you’re involved in their learning journey.
